Welcome to World Kitchen. A fast paced contemporary food/travel series, where presenter Nici Wickes travels the world to gain ideas and inspiration for new dishes to recreate in her kitchen back home.

This is my version of the famed buffalo wing recipe – hot and spicy with a cooling, tasty blue cheese dressing. Here I use drumsticks and roast them instead of frying, and I swear they are better, as well as being more healthy!

Oven roasting a butterflied whole chicken is a fabulous and fast way to cook chicken. With these zingy Balinese-inspired flavours it’s a tasty crowd pleaser for lunch or dinner.

This is delicious served with Potato Gratin and lightly steamed asparagus or green beans.
